Ariel Aparicio
Ariel’s sound and
musical style has been compared to David Bowie, The Stooges and The
Strokes. He’s released three full-length
albums and most recently, three individual single releases. Ariel just wrapped up a new album and the
first few singles will be rolling out between now and July so marketing/PR for
the new material will be in full swing at that point. A regular on LOGO, Ariel
has had two videos top 'The Click List' countdown, including his cover of the
Psychedelic Furs’ 80s classic “Pretty in Pink,” which retired from the
countdown after 18 weeks and made it to their “Top Ten of 2009”. The song was
also part of a partnership with Susan G. Komen for the Cure, where he donated
all proceeds from sales of the single to help the fight against Breast Cancer.
He's a seasoned performer with many Prides under his belt; other live
performance highlights include a main slot at the 40th Anniversary
Commemorative Concert & Benefit – “STONEWALL” at the Nokia Theatre in Times
Square and being selected as the exclusive performer during MTV Networks’
National Coming Out Day event last October.
