Bad Bunny Leads in Spotify’s Most-Streamed Artists of 2020

Spotify has officially crowned Bad Bunny and Billie Eilish as the most-streamed artists of 2020.

According to reports, Bad Bunny is this year’s leading artist with more than 8.3 billion streams and his February full-length, YHLQMDLG, is the most-streamed album with over 3.3 billion streams.

Drake enters at second place followed by J Balvin, the late Juice WRLD and The Weeknd. Meanwhile, Eilish takes the throne as the most-streamed woman with Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande following suit.

Trailing YHLQMDLG are The Weeknd’s After Hours, Post Malone’s Hollywood’s Bleeding, Harry Styles’ Fine Line and Dua Lipa‘s Future Nostalgia as the most-streamed albums of 2020. Song-wise, The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” is at No. 1 with over 1.6 billion streams, Tones And I’s “Dance Monkey” at No. 2 and Roddy Ricch‘s “The Box” and SAINt JHN and Imanbek’s “Roses” remix up next.

Spotify also shared that The Joe Rogan Experience is the most popular podcast of the year, followed by NPR News Now and TED Talks Daily.

Elsewhere in music, Lil Nas X credited Frank Ocean and Tyler, the Creator for making things “easier” for him.
