At Onyx Room, we’re proud to call San Diego home, and we love being a favorite night spot for both locals and visitors to our wonderful city. After a couple of very challenging years, it’s more important than ever to show appreciation for the best of everything San Diego has to offer, and once again, our fellow San Diegans are showing us some love by nominating us for three of The San Diego Union-Tribune’s “Best Of” awards.
Each year, the UT polls its readers for their favorite San Diego places. It’s the longest-running poll of its kind in the county, and it’s the one that’s most important to us. We’ve been honored with the Best Nightclub award twice, and we’ve also been named Best Dance Club and Best Downtown/Gaslamp Bar. Because we bring a unique vibe to the downtown San Diego nightclub scene and welcome an open-minded, up-for-anything, and, above all, extremely friendly crowd, we’re one of the very best nightclubs in San Diego.
