Weekend Street Markets to Check Out in San Diego

GET SOME SAN DIEGO SUN THIS WEEKEND BEFORE HEADING TO THE CLUB AT NIGHT

Want to buy fresh produce for the week? Or simply looking for cheap summer shirts? Don’t spend hundreds at a retail store when you can get much better things at a cheaper price at some of San Diego’s best weekend street markets.

If you’re planning to check out weekend markets in San Diego, here’s our personal favorites.
—–The La Jolla Open Air Market —–

This is one of the most popular street markets in San Diego. Farmers, food vendors, and artisans come together to sell fresh produce, interesting food items and unique gifts and art pieces at affordable prices. Every Sunday from 9am to 1pm, this is the perfect place for you to enjoy a Sunday morning with your family.

—–Old Town Artisan Market —–

If you’re looking for purely an artisan market, the Old Town Market is the best place to visit. Small, but unique, it has gifts, painted glass, hand-crafted materials and a lot more. The perfect place to look for unique gifts for someone’s birthday! Open on Saturdays 9am to 4pm.

—–Lane Field Park Market —–

Food, food, food! If food is all you want to indulge in over the weekend, the Lane Field Park Market is the best option. It has a wide selection of food varieties and offers music, coffee, entertainment and a whole lot of space. Great for a large family weekend picnic. Open Sunday 10am to 4pm.

—–Liberty Public Market —–

For a market that has literally everything – from food to bars, craft items to clothing, drinks to coffee, visit the Liberty Public Market. It’s a touristy area and may be crowded during happy hours (3pm to 6pm) so try visiting early morning. Open every day from Monday to Sunday 11 am to 8pm.

—– Barrio Logan Flea Market —–

Jewelry, clothes, beds, household items – almost everything you need is available at the Barrio Logan Flea Market. Affordable prices, friendly vendors and a variety of stalls make this place a must-visit. Open Saturday 4 pm to 10 pm.
