During her most recent visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jennifer Lopez relived all her 2019 achievements including her All I Have Tour, her engagement to Alex Rodriguez, the success of her Hustlers movie and, of course, the surprise announcement of her forthcoming participation in the 2020 Super Bowl’s halftime show with Colombian singer Shakira.
“It’s going to happen quickly,” Lopez says. “It’s me and Shakira down in Miami, and it’s going to be good.”
Both artists, who are already rehearsing for the big day, are getting ready for a production where they have to put the stage together for the show, perform, and put everything away — all in under 29 minutes. “You end having twelve to fourteen minutes, and we are probably going to split that between us and have special guests, hopefully,” she explains.
On Sept. 26, Shakira and Jennifer Lopez confirmed their participation at the Super Bowl by posting the news on social media, sending fans into a flurry.
