Since its launch, Rihanna’s Fenty Skin has sparked a skin-care movement, one that celebrates individuals of all skin tones, types, and concerns. For the gender-neutral line, inviting men into the conversation was essential. So when it came time to cast for her campaign, RiRi called upon her longtime friend and collaborator A$AP Rocky to star alongside her and flex his flawless complexion.

“Men love their skin, and they take care of it, but they feel obligated almost to only use products that are for men because anything beyond that feels too feminine, it’s not for them, they’re not allowed, they don’t have permission,” Rihanna tells Rocky, who is interviewing the Barbadian singer and beauty disrupter today—and leaving no subject unturned.

In their candid conversation, the pair covers a wide range of topics, from how she would describe her skin type (“Just as complicated as men are!”) to her favorite TV show to binge watch (hint: it’s Real Housewives of…), to how she stays mentally and spiritually aligned (“That’s a dope ass question, I’ve never been asked that shit before!”). Offering laughs and real talk in equal measure, RiRi and Rocky’s playful tête-à-tête has it all.
